Welcome to the Online Home of the Emerado Fire Department

The Emerado Volunteer Fire Department is a non-profit emergency response department that serves approximately 112 square miles within Grand Forks County, including the City of Emerado. Our agency responds to a wide variety of emergency calls for service including, but not limited to wild land grass fires, medical emergencies, technical rescues, motor vehicle accidents and structure fires.

It is our mission to preserve life, and property, promote and foster economic growth through leadership, management and actions, as an all-risk life safety response provider!

EVFD is comprised of men and women who are dedicated to serve their community, and do it on their own time, on the own dime. None of our members are paid for their service, but still proudly gear up at a moments notice, responding to an average of over 100 calls per year!

EVFD does not receive ANY funding from your tax dollars, meaning without your support, EVFD could not exist!
